*Small/Toy Dogs with Haircuts-Every 4-6 Weeks
*Short Coated Dogs--Every 6-8 Weeks
*Long Coated Dogs-- Every 4-6 Weeks
*Big Furry Dogs--Every 6-8 Weeks

How Can I Keep My Dog in Good Condition?
*Frequent Brushing & Combing
*Dry your Dog Thouroughly If it gets Wet
*Furry Dogs should not wear their collars all the time (causes severe neck tangles)
*Feed your Dog a High Quality Food

Why Does My Dog Get Ear Infections?
*Infrequent Grooming
*Water Trapped In The Ear Canal (possibly from swimming or rain)
*Dirt/Bacteria in the Ear
*Allergies

Why Does My Dog Have Itchy/Sore Skin?
*85% of skin irritation is caused by food....Try changing to a higher quality or benign food such as Venison or Fish
*Yeast Infection
*Staph Infection
*Detergent Based Shampoo (many shampoo's sold in Pet Stores are Detergent Based/Human Shampoo is NOT the correct PH level for dogs and should not be used to bathe your pet)

Should I try to cut knots out of my dogs coat?
*Absolutely NOT!
*Cuting on your dogs coat makes grooming much more difficult
*We have seen many dogs suffer injury when owners try this

Is it important to brush my dog's teeth?
Should I have my dog's teeth cleaned by my Veterinarian?

*Absolutely brush your dog's teeth--this will keep the plaque & tartar off
*Many dogs need to have their teeth professionally cleaned when periodontal disease and infected teeth are present
*Bacteria in mouths has now been linked to heart disease--Bacteria can travel from your pet's mouth to their blood stream and can cause many health concerns
*Cleaning your dog's teeth can lengthen their lives, improve their breath, and save their teeth

My Dog has itchy Skin...What Can you do about it?
*SAVE $$-We have shampoo just like the Vet could give you with Chlorihexidine to kill bacteria and natural ingredients for restoring your pets skin to good health--There is NO extra Charge for this Shampoo
*Frequent Bathing and Massage helps with flaking and itching...sometimes 3-4 Baths close together are necessary for really irritated skin....We can give you a Medicated Bath Discount Package to help SAVE Money
